A soft breeze blows, and you know everything will be ok. I have painted this piece in oil, it is of my favorite hidden vacation spot on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. There is this place along the sound with a sandy beach and shady spots like this one hidden under the branches of a huge tree. I love to watch the birds fly by, or the fish stir the water as the kids play. It is so peaceful. I hope to share a bit if this feeling of serenity with you. Whenever you need to take a breath, imagine yourself here under the shade, looking out into the sound.
