Polymer Clay Roses — Mother’s Day Keepsake (One-Day Workshop)

Age: Kids 7+

Length: 1.5 hours

Time: Saturday, April 25th 10:30-12:00

Location: Greensboro Cultural Center, Rm 415

Little artists will handcraft a beautiful polymer clay rose gift for Mother’s Day. Guided step-by-step, kids will learn basic clay conditioning, shaping petals, assembling a rose, adding leaves/details, and finishing techniques. Finished pieces will be cured and wrapped for a special presentation.

Please note: Oven finished pieces will need to be picked up one week later. If you prefer to take your rose home to bake ( no return necessary), instructions will be provided for you to do so.

What’s included:

  • All materials and tools (polymer clay, simple shaping tools, baking/curing)

  • Instruction and hands-on assistance

  • Protective workspace and aprons

  • Gift wrapping for each finished piece

Pickup & Follow-up: Parents return one week later to pick up the baked and wrapped keepsake.

We will meet in Lebauer Park (right beside the Arts Center) exactly one week later.

Safety & Notes:

  • Recommended age 7+ (younger children may need adult assistance)

  • No food or drink ( except water) at the workspace; non-toxic materials used
