I have painted this piece in oil, it is of my favorite hidden vacation spot on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. There is this place along the sound with a sandy beach and shady spots like this one hidden under a huge live oak tree. I love to watch the birds fly by, or the fish stir the water as the kids play. It is so peaceful. I hope to share a bit if this feeling of serenity with you. Whenever you need to take a breath, imagine yourself here under the shade of an oak, looking out into the sound. A soft breeze blows, and you know everything will be ok.
The actual size of the original is 24 x 36. Prints will be cropped to fit standard frame and mat sizes. Please note that if you want the exact proportions shown in these images, choose a 24 x 36, 12 x 18, or 6 x 9.
